Lacrima di Morro D’Alba Superiore doc 2020 Organic Magnum – Soara

Soara represents the long path that led us to want to portray this territory through the Lacrima grape. We grow our grapes with organic practices to stimulate the natural balance of the vineyard. In the cellar we intervene as little as possible to enhance the vitality and varietal purity.

Soara it’s a unique wine, which resembles no other and for this reason we want to defend and promote also through the Association of vertical producers of Lacrima.

Category: D.O.C. – designation of origin.

Winemaking: Fermentation in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature with malolactic fermentation and partial aging in 20 hl conical oak vats.

Origin: Selection of the best grapes from the San Marcello and Ostra vineyards.

Age of the vines: 10 – 25 years.

Soil: Calcareous-clays.

Plant density: 3500 plants per hectare.

Training system: Guyot pruning.

Yield per hectare: 50 quintals per hectare

Collection: By hand.

Aging: 85% in steel and 15% conical oak vats for 12 months and then 6 months in the bottle.

Taste: the palate is wrapped in ripe berries and spicy and savory notes. A well-structured, elegant wine with refined tannins with an intense finish that leaves a pleasant fruity scent.

Color: Intense red color with purple shades.

Bouquet: Intense notes of violets, roses, red fruits arrive on the nose.

Pairings: Excellent throughout the meal with cold cuts, aged cheeses, meat sauces, red meats, roasts or game.

Allergens: contains sulphites

Alcoholic content: 13,0% vol.

Serving temperature: 16 – 18°.
