Via Serra 46 is the address of our winery, Filodivino: this wine is our declaration of intent, even the simplest and youngest wine must tell our terroir, without manipulation and through a conscious agriculture that respects the rhythms of Nature. Serra46 says to those who drink it: “I come from here, from this special terroir”. Aged exclusively in steel and left to rest for three months on the fine lees, it is a Verdicchio that will transport you directly to the heart of the Marche region, to offer you captivating aromas and extremely pleasant tastes.

Matto is the first wine we presented to the public, at the beginning of Filodivino’s adventure. Even today it represents our desire to offer an original and high-quality interpretation of this incredible Appellation.

Category: D.O.C. – Designation of origin.

Winemaking: Selection of parcels mostly composed of 55-year-old vines. Manual harvesting and fermentation in stainless-steel tanks and non-vitrified concrete eggs. It is bottled after at least six months of aging.

Origin: San Marcello organic vineyard, in the heart of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi area.

Age of the vines: 10 to 55 years

Bouquet: The nose initially reveals hints of white flowers, followed by a sensation of citrusy freshness, savory and with an intriguing complexity.

Pairings: Fish-based dishes, white meats, appetizers and first courses. It goes perfectly with seafood cuisine, and it is excellent with “spaghetti allo scoglio”.

The pursuit of excellence is the basis of our way of working. For our Riserva we choose only the best grapes of the year, grown organically, and we wait for them until they are ready to express their full potential. The result is a Great Wine that we are happy to share.

Winemaking: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. 90% ages in steel and 10% in French oak tonneaux for 12 months.

Taste: On the palate it is warm and round while maintaining the minerality typical of our area. Wide in the mouth, a beautiful acidity supports and refreshes it.

Color: Intense yellow with gold shades.

Aroma: Ripe aromas of beeswax, spices and candied fruit combine with fresher and more vibrant notes.

Pairings: Perfect with elaborate fish dishes, such as broths and soups, grilled and roasted turbot and sea bass. It also goes well with white meats, in particular with simmered rabbit and chicken, one of the typical recipes of the Ancona hinterland.
