Igt Marche Bianco Coccio is an “orange” wine macerated on the skins and aged in clay amphoras. Not all white grapes are suitable for this type of winemaking. But Verdicchio, thanks to its great structure and complexity, can express itself at its best by offering unexpected aromas and textures. Only 1300 bottles produced for a connoisseurs wine.

Winemaking: Maceration on the skins in stainless-steel tank for 20 days, spontaneous fermentation and aging in clay amphora for 12 months.

Origin: San Marcello. Selection of the best grapes of the year.

Age of the vines: 55 years

Plant density: 2700 plants per hectare

Training system: Guyot pruning.

Yield per hectare: 50 quintals per hectare

Harvest: By hand

Aging: 12 months in terracotta amphora and then 6 months in the bottle.

Grapes: 100% Verdicchio

Taste: Intense, warm, with notes of beeswax, honey and candied fruit. The minerality binds everything and gives a nice drink to the wine. Note a subtle presence of tannins.

Bouquet: The nose is rich and multifaceted, with aromas of citrus peel, camphor, mimosa and incense.

Pairings: It happily accompanies gratin mussels, marinated fish carpaccio, broth, stockfish Ancona style. Excellent with chicken “in potacchio” and rabbit “in porchetta”.
